Weddings of same-sex couples are typical nowadays, each unique in its way. These celebrations can differ significantly from the style of dress to the festivities. The guest list may include LGBTQ individuals and gender roles may be reimagined. However, love is love, and I treat every wedding I photograph with respect and care. The Legare Waring House provided a beautiful backdrop for the couple's proposal in this particular photo. Michael was nervous when he asked if they could bring their beloved pet, but I was happy and accommodating. The resulting image perfectly captures the couple's love for each other, and with my expert lighting skills, I was able to bring it to life. The dog is well-behaved and stands out in the center of the photo, while the Spanish Moss trees, greenery, and golden sun complete the picture—no wonder this couple chose to display this image in their home.
