As a wedding photographer in Charleston, SC, I have the privilege of capturing many memorable moments, but my absolute favorite is when the father sees his daughter in her wedding dress for the first time. This moment is especially meaningful because the father has likely been heavily involved in paying for the wedding, but has had limited knowledge of the details, such as the bride's dress designer. As a father myself, I find this moment to be emotional and heartwarming, often bringing tears to my eyes despite my professional role. During one such moment, the bride was joined by her mother and sister and was so overcome with emotion that she cried and laughed simultaneously.
