Charleston, South Carolina is the second most popular location for weddings in the United States. This is largely due to the city's rich history, which dates back to the 1700s and 1800s. Its buildings, churches, synagogues, and cobblestone streets are all a testament to this fascinating history. One particular church, the Second Presbyterian Church, was planned by fifteen men in 1809. It was built at 342 Meeting Street to accommodate the growing congregation of the First (Scots) Presbyterian Church on Lower Meeting Street by 1811. This church is well-preserved and boasts beautiful window light. I took a unique approach to capture its beauty by using a fisheye lens to incorporate the surrounding trees and the grandeur of the church. With some artistic touches in pre-and-post-production, I was able to highlight the blue sky, green rustic benches, and overall beauty of this stunning image captured in Charleston, South Carolina.
