Being a wedding photographer in Charleston, Sc is that I cannot only photograph weddings but more and more, I am photographing many bridal portraits. The beauty of a bridal portrait session is that my brides get a great understanding and feel for how their big day will be, by having their hair done and wearing the wedding dress. In most cases, it increases their confidence. Capturing them in the this beautiful Historic City of Charleston, Sc, adds so much for us as wedding photographers, to create those one-of-a-kind bridal portraits. Posing a bride and getting images that she can cherish and love for a very long time is the goal. You have to make the image stand out and find the perfect location. The most important part of a bridal session is how to keep the bride's dress clean. For every bridal portrait, I give my brides a list of things to bring witch includes a cover or sheet to protect the bottom of their dress. You also want to make very sure that you do not walk around too many locations and achieve great results, in a very timely matter. As for this bride who came from Columbia, Sc, and did not want to get her dress dirty, or go to many different locations. I honored her request and in about an hour, I had a good amount of great bridal portrait images and by showing her a few from my camera screen, got her very happy with the results. Which takes me to this image. I love the pose of her arms, the way we tucked the dress and the flowers on the right side of the frame, how I added a tilt to give this image the perfect bridal portrait that she loved the most.
